Set Designer and Filmmaker
In this collaborative exhibition, Ursula van de Bunte (photographer) and Denice Zwiers (set designer & filmmaker) join forces. They bring stories from the Second World War to life. Eight women from Kampen share memories of their youth during wartime. These stories come to life in film and photography.
We wanted to connect film and photography by focusing on set design, especially clothing and props. Therefore I choosed the props carefully and did a treasurehunt for the right objects. With a little touch of spraypaint or glue, they transformed into the perfect props. For this project I also focused on the graphic design for promotional purposes including posters, flyers and a booklet.
